Files are processed locally in your browser
FileKit runs all conversions and edits using your device's CPU. Files never leave your computer or phone.
Files are not uploaded or stored
There is no server to upload to. We don't have access to your files at any point.
Closing the tab removes your files
Refreshing or closing the page wipes the current files from browser memory.
Anonymous usage analytics
We may collect anonymous events (e.g. 'compress-image started'). We never collect filenames or file contents.
